The upstairs bathrooms in this beautiful 20 acre home, sitting at the top of an avocado & lemon orchard, were in need of an update. The whole upstairs was covered in wall to wall pink carpet & floral wallpaper. The owners loved the warmth & comfort their Traditional style home offered but they were ready to transition to something a little more timeless.
In the master bath, along with the guest bathroom and all throughout the second floor, we replaced the pink plush carpet with the same warm, hand scraped hardwood floors found throughout the rest of the house. We got rid of the built in tub and surrounding cabinets and replaced it with a beautiful freestanding tub from Victoria & Albert. The clients enjoyed going to the quarry and picking out the Carrera Marble that would be used in their new walk in shower.
We replaced all of the brass faucets and bath hardware with new chrome fixtures from Kohler and the contractor designed custom floor to ceiling built-ins to house all of the clients personals.
