The before image shows a kitchen that was in total need of a makeover. To avoid having to do a floor change, we kept the existing foot print of the kitchen but gutted it top to floor. We removed the boxed fluorescent lighting and added flushmount LED can lights throughout the kitchen & dining room. We had floor to ceiling cabinets installed to maximize the space and selected fun & functional add-ons, like a pull out pantry, lazy suzan and drawer dividers for the many utensils. We discarded the microwave above the oven and added the range hood, as well as ALL new GE appliances, sans refrigerator.

We lowered the bar to be counter height even with the rest of the counter space, allowing more room to prep food and eat at. We selected a pretty white quartz that is very durable and easy to clean. We chose timeless white subway tiles for the backsplash and picked out simple black hardware for all the drawer & cabinet pulls. We installed two clear glass pendant lights over the sitting area and picked out fun grey washed barstools that compliment the adjacent dining room table.

This light & bright kitchen is now not only aesthetically pleasing but meets the needs of the owners & stays brightly lit on even the most gloomy of days.
